The Cabin

A cabin in the pines

Smell the warm fresh pine, sip a delicious coffee, and enjoy the easygoing vibe of Sunriver at Chalet Des Chutes.

Chalet Des Chutes is our two-bedroom, 2-bath cabin with a sleeping loft in the heart of Sunriver, named for the Deschutes River that bends past the resort. It sleeps 6 with a queen bed in each of the two bedrooms and two twin beds in the loft, and it’s the kind of place where mornings start with french-press coffee on the front patio and end in the hot tub under a sky full of stars.

Inside you’ll find a gas fireplace for snowy evenings and ductless AC for high-desert summers, a full kitchen that’s genuinely stocked, and room-darkening shades for sleeping in. Outside there are two patios: one with a gas BBQ and outdoor dining, the other made for that first quiet cup of coffee.

Best of all is where it sits: an easy walk to the Village and SHARC, about 20 minutes to both Mt. Bachelor and downtown Bend, and steps from Sunriver’s 40+ miles of paved bike paths. Summer or ski season, you’re in the middle of everything.

“Riley and Anthony’s space was the perfect place for our friends weekend getaway! The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs, and the cabin felt so cozy with many thoughtful touches. Located right in the heart of Sunriver, we were able to walk or bike to the Village and SHARC. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Clean, bright, and cozy place in a great location. Fast and clear communication from the host. The hot tub worked well, and the kids loved the board games, SHARC, and ice skating nearby. The place was well equipped and thoughtful , we didn’t need anything. Thanks for a great stay!”
Annie · January 2026 · Airbnb
“Excellent rental. My family had a great time on our stay. The location is fabulous, very short walk to the Village. The cabin was clean and cozy. Enjoyed the gas fireplace!”
Rob · November 2025 · Airbnb
“Loved their place. It was very quiet and cozy, super clean. It has all the amenities one would need. The beds were very comfortable with crisp linens. The towels were fluffy and thick. They also had towels for the hot tub and beach towels (I assume for SHARC). We loved the gas fireplace and the awesome hot tub! It is just a couple minute walk from the village. I had a conference to attend at the Sun River Resort and used one of the provided bikes to get there which took me less than 10 minutes, probably about 7 minutes. Be sure to bring your own helmet and bike lock though, or you can rent those from local shops. There were lots of homey touches like lounging blankets in the living room. I would definitely stay here again. My only regret was that I didn’t plan to stay longer.”
